The Viking Age was a period from the year 793 to 1066 when Norsemen used rivers and oceans to explore Europe for trading, raiding and conquest.
In 1001, Leif Erikson led his fellow Norseman across the North Atlantic Ocean and landed in North America. This was almost 492 years before Christopher Columbus!
It's this heritage that goes into every board we make.

Every summer, hundreds of thousands of low-cost Polystyrene EPS bodyboards are discarded on the world's beaches.
Polystyrene EPS is not biodegradable and at best takes hundreds of years to decompose. It also easily breaks into small pieces which severely affects marine and wildlife.
We wanted to create an alternative way to enjoy our oceans and rivers that didn't cause an environmental disaster.

At Norse Boards, we're turning the world of skateboards upside down.
The top side of our boards has the graphics (hand-painted by our dedicated artists) rather than the grip tape.
The underside has our logo laser etched into the wood.
Each board is a one-of-a-kind design, individually numbered and signed.
So whether you want to 'cruise' or hang the board on the wall as a piece of art, you'll be proud you chose a Norse Board.
